Lotta Ahovaara is a lawyer and a European trademark and design attorney at Papula-Nevinpat.
Lotta provides advice on various intellectual property rights issues and infringement matters. She manages preliminary searches, agreements, strategies, disputes, oppositions, appeals, trademark registrations, and copyrights. Lotta is also a licensed legal professional.
Lotta started her IP career in 2011 in a Finnish patent agency. Before entering the field of IP, she worked in a law firm and as a lawyer in the private sector. In 2008-2009, she underwent court training at the District Court of Joensuu and received the title of Master of Laws Trained on the Bench.
Lotta is a member of the Board of the Finnish Association for Industrial Property Rights (STY) and the Association of Finnish Patent Attorneys (SPAY), and belongs to FICPI’s Trademarks and IP Enforcement and Alternate Dispute Resolution working groups. She is also a member of the Finnish AIPPI Group and the Finnish association for licensed legal counsels (Luvan saaneet oikeudenkäyntiavustajat ry).
Lotta joined Papula-Nevinpat in 2021.
