Papula-Nevinpat’s history – from a patent and trademark firm to an international IP Law Firm
Papula-Nevinpat’s story begins in 1975 as M.Sc. Antti Papula established patent and trademark company Papula Oy. He would later go on to receive the Finnish honorary title of Patenttineuvos (Patent Counsellor). The company grew quickly and started international collaboration early on, particularly in Russia and the Eurasian region.
In 1990, we launched an office called Nevinpat in Russia as the country’s first foreign IP office. We are still the most significant foreign operator in the region and continue to monitor our customers’ intellectual property rights with strong local expertise.
Through the decades, Papula-Nevinpat has grown into an international expert organization. Perseverance, professionalism and international vision continue to form the foundation of our operating culture.
