Matti Kauppi is an IP legal advisor at Papula-Nevinpat.

Matti specializes in demanding legal technology matters such as licensing, strategic IP advice, buying and selling IP rights, IP insurance and negotiating on them, offensive and defensive management of patent infringement claims, and general advice on matters related to commercial utilization of patents. Matti is a solution-oriented lawyer with particular expertise in international IPR and business law. He has experience working in the United States and is familiar with the specifics of licensing matters in an international setup. In addition to his law degree, Matti also holds a licentiate in technology, which helps him better understand his clients’ IPR situation, and his additional in-depth understanding of technical matters ensures better results for his clients.

Matti has previously worked as a legal advisor and in-house lawyer, as well as in management positions as a lawyer and business director. His approach is pragmatic, providing clients with clear, actionable advice to help them solve their problems efficiently.
