Irmeli Nokkanen is a European design attorney at Papula-Nevinpat. She is also a European trademark attorney and authorized to practice before all courts in Finland.
Irmeli advises on design registration applications, strategies and processes, oppositions, appeals, and design infringement cases. She has extensive practical experience in protecting designs internationally.
Irmeli began her career in intellectual property in 1991 as a lawyer at the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland. In 1998 she took charge of the global design protection of an international telecommunication company.
Irmeli joined Papula-Nevinpat in 2007.
She is a member of the design groups of AIPPI and FICPI.
