Mikko Piironen is a European Patent Attorney at Papula-Nevinpat. He is also a Partner in the company.
His patent experience includes identifying and handling inventions, as well as drafting and prosecuting patent applications, with a special focus on start-up companies.
Mikko also assists our clients in licensing negotiations and patent-related court matters. He has particular expertise in computer-implemented inventions.
Between 2012 and 2021, Mikko worked in Munich, where he gained wide experience in oppositions, oral proceedings, and appeals before the European Patent Office.
Mikko began his intellectual property career in 2001 as a patent specialist at Papula-Nevinpat.
