Elena Akulenko is a patent attorney at our Eurasian patent department.
At Papula-Nevinpat, Elena prosecutes patent applications related to all fields of chemistry and conducts patent searches. Having a solid background in IP protection in Russia and the Eurasian region, she supports our services by providing comprehensive consultancy to our clients.
Elena has gained extensive experience in patent landscaping and IP business intelligence since 2014, when she successfully completed an extended patent research training program at Thomson Innovation in London.
Elena began her IPR career in 2008 as a patent and licensing engineer at a manufacturing company in Saint Petersburg. She was actively involved in the company’s internationalization in the US and the CIS countries, supporting the development and protection of its IP strategy.
In 2012, she transitioned to IP consulting and worked as a patent attorney in top-tier IP firms in Russia and Finland, enhancing her expertise in patent prosecution and formulating and implementing strategic patent management plans to maximize her client companies’ IP protection.
