Maija Nyström is a trainee patent attorney on Papula-Nevinpat’s ICT, Electrical Engineering and Physics team.

Before joining us at Papula-Nevinpat, Maija worked in various R&D roles in the field of industrial laser sintering (3D printing), also handling intellectual property matters. Through her work in product development, she has become familiar with the inventor’s perspective as well.

Maija’s areas of expertise include laser sintering, metallic materials, materials physics and research, electrostatics, and process and product development. From 2009 to 2014, she worked as a doctoral student at the University of Turku in the Laboratory of Industrial Physics, focusing on static electricity and pharmaceutical physics. Her doctoral dissertation consisted of four peer-reviewed research articles published in recognized scientific journals.
